Fika Local Government Area is one of the places that witnessed heavy bombardment at the peak of Boko Haram activities in 2015. Specifically, on May 30, 2015, suspected Boko Haram insurgents reportedly stormed Fika town; burning down a police station, local government secretariat, LEA and departments of health, works, and several government public buildings. Clearly, educational facilities have been destroyed and existing ones over-stretched beyond capacity.

Following our investigations on educational development in the state, we discovered funds meant for education with Yobe SUBEB as the implementation agency. Therefore, Follow The Money Team has activated #ErectJanjaBula track NGN 8.2 Million for the Construction of three (3) Classrooms at Janja Bula PS, Janja Bula, Fika LGA, Yobe State.

We invite the general public to get involved in the campaign today. And help us in this campaign so that Wachakal community will have access to basic education by joining us on www.ifollowthemoney.org.
