In 138 communities in 11 front-line states – Zamfara, Sokoto, Kebbi, Jigawa, Yobe, Borno, Bauchi, Kano, Gombe, Katsina and Adamawa, 133 billion Naira has been approved for providing 1,500 km of forest area, water supply system, improved dry agricultural technology, and social development centres. It’s 3 years now, and our community reporters are sending in reports of project incompletion in the area of greenery, water supply, improved dry agricultural systems, and even employment of young Nigerians as forest guards.
