The Follow the Money team during its data mining session learnt that the Border Communities Development Agency( BCDA) will be constructing Kaddadin Primary Healthcare Centre in Buba Gada Local Government Area of Sokoto state. Kadadin community has a population of about 22,000 members with farming as their means of livelihood. There is an already existing primary health care centre which was built 10 years ago. The PHC lacks a midwife, toilet, drugs, water or electricity. This project when completely executed will serve a medically underserved area, providing them with comprehensive primary care services that they do not have at the moment and offer services to all persons regardless of the person’s status and provide new jobs in some cases that did not previously exist.
We have initiated #ConstructKadadin campaign to track the construction of PHC. We invite the public to get involved in the campaign today. Help us in this campaign so that the people of Kadadin Buba Gada will have access to a consistent and affordable healthcare facility.

BCDA, the Implementing Agency Petitioned to ICPC, EFCC, Auditor-General and the National Assembly
27 February 2018: Having not heard from the BCDA on details sought regarding the project implementation such as the contract award documents, successful contractor details, actual project amount and bill of quantities, as well as confirming that no sort of implementation had started at the community, we wrote a petition to the ICPC, EFCC, Auditor-General of the Federation and the National Assembly (Senate and House of Reps) to conduct investigation over the project.
